A small kitchen and divisions between rooms in the main living area not only disrupts the flow of the house, but it also makes family time more difficult during meal prep and evening activities. The answer? These homeowners wanted an open floor plan and a bigger kitchen with a large island at the heart of the space to accommodate the whole family. Now, the living area is beautiful and functional for everyone, encouraging time spent together.
